The compact version of the Arca-compatible L-bracket from 3 Legged Thing. Like the standard version, it is horizontally adjustable in length and, with a shorter plate, is perfect for smaller cameras (such as Fuji and Olympus). All ports, covers and the display remain accessible.

Latest-generation L-brackets for compact cameras

With ELLIE, 3 Legged Thing is launching a new generation of L-brackets. The first of its kind, it can be adjusted horizontally in length and optimally adapted to the respective camera. This means that different camera models can be used with just one L-bracket. Thanks to the shorter design, all ports remain accessible even with smaller mirrorless cameras or compact DSLRs. Furthermore, the horizontal and vertical sides can each be used individually.

Quick switch between portrait and landscape format

Both the horizontal and vertical quick-release plates are Arca-compatible. This means the camera can be switched from portrait to landscape and vice versa in seconds. The horizontal side also features a Peak Design connection, allowing the camera to be combined with the brand’s straps and carrying systems.

Perfect access to all ports, covers and the display

ELLIE has been designed so that all the camera’s ports and covers remain accessible. This ensures quick access to the memory card and battery at all times, as well as easy operation of the display and all buttons.

Strap loop and two 1/4-inch female threads for accessories

Thanks to the two 1/4-inch female threads on the sides, additional accessories can be mounted directly onto the L-bracket. Options include, for example, a microphone, a video light or an accessory arm with a monitor. There is also a belt loop on the underside of the L-bracket. This allows the camera strap to be moved downwards from the camera side. This keeps the camera side completely free of accessories for easy operation of the shutter button and other controls.

Note

This ELLIE L-bracket is only compatible with the Peak Design Capture Clip v3 and cannot be used with older versions of the Capture Clip.
