For the stereoscopic 190° field of view, two circular fisheye images are recorded perfectly synchronised onto the full-frame sensor, and then seamlessly stitched together for post-processing using the powerful Canon EOS VR Utility software or plug-in – nothing else is required.

The RF 5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE consists of two perfectly aligned, forward-facing fisheye lenses, each featuring two UD lenses to correct aberrations, as well as Canon’s special SWC coating, which reduces ghosting and flare even in backlit conditions.

The RF 5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE offers a fast aperture of f/2.8, whilst its two electromagnetic diaphragms (EMD) ensure precisely synchronised exposure, delivering outstanding performance in low light.
L-series quality and weather sealing
As an L-series lens, the RF 5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE is ideal for professional use. It is dust- and splash-resistant and features a fluorine coating that repels water and dirt from the surface of the front element.
A gel filter holder enables precise exposure control
The RF 5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE features a gel filter holder at the rear for pre-cut ND gel filters, which can be used in 180° VR video productions to precisely control exposure.
