The RF 800mm F5.6 L IS USM is an RF super-telephoto lens that offers incredible performance as well as outstanding design and handling. From its fast f/5.6 aperture and image stabilisation providing up to 4.5 stops of compensation, to its fluorite, UD and Super UD lenses with advanced coatings, the lens sets new standards in optical excellence.
Reliable control
This is Canon’s lightest and shortest 800mm L-series lens to date, made possible by an advanced optical design. The optimised weight distribution ensures excellent handling, and the precise AF can be manually adjusted at any time.
Robust and responsive – for every application
User-friendliness is at the forefront of the L-series design. The lightweight magnesium alloy body and heat-insulating exterior colour protect the optics inside, whilst a fluorine coating repels dust and splash water from the front and rear lenses.
