Control the SPEEDLITE EL-5 directly from the camera – this is made possible by the Canon Multi-Function Accessory Shoe*, which offers a reliable connection with improved communication and functionality.

A wealth of features for creative photography
FE memory (with compatible cameras only) enables quick setup, and manual flash output adjustment is possible down to 1/1,024 (with compatible cameras only; minimum flash output is 1/128 during high-speed synchronisation). With custom flash modes, you can save settings and link them to the custom settings of a compatible camera.

Multi-flash set-ups for studio-quality
shots Control up to 15 Speedlites wirelessly from a distance of up to 30 m using the built-in radio transmitter, and shape the lighting using the two white LEDs, whose brightness can be adjusted.

Intuitive menus and advanced operation
Control settings directly using the Speedlite’s joystick, from the camera’s LCD, via the Speedlite’s direct menu button (Flash), or remotely via the Camera Connect app. The SPEEDLITE EL-5’s reflector can be angled up to 120 degrees upwards or to the side to create indirect lighting.

Reliable
