The new WFT-E9B Wireless File Transmitter provides Wi-Fi functionality for the EOS C500 Mark II or extends the range of the EOS-1D X Mark III’s built-in Wi-Fi. Thanks to MIMO antennas and the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, it ensures a strong, reliable connection with a long range, even in congested environments. With the EOS-1D X Mark III, you can also use the WFT-E9B to connect a mobile device to the camera, allowing you to control it over greater distances than with the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi. And you can transfer your footage directly to an SFTP server wirelessly. With an EOS C500 Mark II, the WFT-E9B enables online live streaming and the transfer of footage. You can also shoot from highly unusual and creative angles by using a connected mobile device for live view, camera control and shutter release.
