FUJIFILM is expanding its GFX System1 with the FUJINON GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR standard zoom lens. With a focal length of 45–100 mm (equivalent to 36–79 mm in 35 mm format), it covers the most commonly used focal length range and fits into the current line-up between the GF32–64mmF4 R LM WR and the GF100–200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR. With their combined zoom range and relatively high maximum aperture, these three zoom lenses are suitable for virtually any photographic task and offer photographers striving for the highest quality a wealth of creative possibilities.

The GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR is a versatile lens featuring a sophisticated optical design in a robust, weather-resistant body. It is ideal for nature and landscape photography, but is also suitable for portrait photography. It is equipped, amongst other things, with powerful 5-axis image stabilisation2 and a fast, quiet autofocus. A Super ED element and other special lenses ensure high image quality with outstanding resolution and a beautiful bokeh effect.

Outstanding image quality and tonal reproduction

The optical design of the GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR comprises 16 elements in 12 groups. Three aspherical lenses, one Super ED and one ED element ensure effective correction of imaging errors (distortion) as well as spherical and chromatic aberrations. The negative effects of optical sharpness and colour errors are minimised as far as possible, resulting in outstanding resolution performance.

Fast and precise autofocus

Thanks to internal focusing, the weight and size of the focusing unit have been reduced. The lens group is moved quickly and precisely by a linear motor, which is particularly quiet in operation.

Optical image stabilisation

The lens is equipped with optical image stabilisation, which allows for a shutter speed up to 5 EV steps2 slower. This enables sharp handheld shots even with the high-resolution GFX cameras.

Compact and lightweight body

Weighing just 1,005 grams, with a length of 144.5 millimetres and a diameter of 93 millimetres, the GF45-100mmF4 is exceptionally handy and compact for a medium-format lens with a 2.2x zoom.

Splash- and dust-proof

Eleven seals protect the lens’s high-quality internal components from splash water and dust. This means the GF45-100mmF4 can be used without any problems even in adverse conditions and at temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius.
