The XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR offers the popular standard focal length of 50 mm (35 mm equivalent). This focal length comes closest to the familiar visual impression, as the proportions of objects at varying distances correspond to natural perception. The lens is therefore suitable for a wide range of shooting situations, from portrait and reportage to landscape photography.
The fast F1.4 aperture offers additional flexibility in difficult lighting conditions and also enables shots with exceptionally beautiful bokeh.
The optical design of the XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR comprises 15 elements in ten groups. Two aspherical lenses and three ED glass elements effectively minimise chromatic and spherical aberrations.
A fast and precise autofocus ensures reliable focusing for both stills and video.
The compact and robustly built lens also features a splash- and dust-resistant housing. It weighs just around 360 grams and is 73.5 mm long with a filter diameter of 58 mm.
The aperture ring can be secured using an automatic lock (A Position Lock) to prevent accidental adjustment of the shooting parameters.
