Featuring an outstanding 50-megapixel medium-format CMOS sensor (43.8 x 32.9 mm), the CFV II 50C digital back is compatible with most V-System cameras from 1957 onwards. The CFV II 50C back features a brilliant 3.2-inch display with a resolution of 2.36K pixels, tilting capability, full touch support, and Hasselblad’s acclaimed user interface for settings, image review and menu navigation. The CFV II 50C combines its iconic aesthetics with a chrome-effect body and modern technology, a nod to Hasselblad’s history combined with the brand’s world-renowned image quality.

Connecting the CFV II 50C to the 907X, Hasselblad’s smallest ever medium-format camera body, creates an extremely compact system. This combination offers a truly unique photographic experience, including the classic waist-level shooting style of the V-system, made possible by the CFV II 50C’s tilting screen.

New camera – proven lenses

When used with the 907X camera body, photographers gain access to all XCD lenses with autofocus and automatic exposure. As an improvement on earlier CFV models, which were rather limited in terms of wide-angle options, the CFV II 50C, when used with the 907X body, provides excellent access to the XCD 21 and 30 wide-angle lenses. This combination is reminiscent of the Hasselblad SWC, but with interchangeable lenses. All XCD, HC/HCD, XPan and V-System lenses can be used with the XH, XV or XPan adapters. To further expand the range of lenses, the 907X offers compatibility with a range of third-party lenses and adapters.

A design – built to last

With the CFV II 50C, Hasselblad celebrates its design concept. A timeless, classic appearance offers dimensions similar to those of a traditional V-System film magazine. Together with the smallest medium-format body ever produced by Hasselblad, the 907X, we present a thoroughly compact package. The combination of modern technology with classic aesthetics is reminiscent of the SWC camera. The CFV II 50C with the 907X reaffirms Hasselblad’s history and renowned image quality.

Tilt. Touch. Zoom. Swipe.

The CFV II 50C’s modern, tiltable touchscreen offers easy two-finger operation and image browsing with a single swipe. The higher refresh rate of 60 frames per second makes the Live View display on the screen even smoother. Thanks to the high-resolution screen, improved Live View and Focus Peaking, focus can be adjusted with even greater precision. This is particularly advantageous with V-system cameras.

Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight
In the right light with the SB-5000 – our first radio-controlled flash unit. The SB-5000 is fast, reliable and versatile, delivering outstanding lighting for both outdoor shoots and studio work. Radio signals allow use within a 30-metre radius and support complex setups, whether with the flash unit mounted on the camera or used off-camera: you can now work even without a direct line of sight or in bright sunlight , which would otherwise interfere with an optical signal. The new integrated cooling system allows for over 100 rapid-fire shots at full flash power. For photographers who want to spontaneously capture the decisive moment, the lightweight, compact SB-5000 offers clearly arranged controls for intuitive operation.
