Achieve perfect results without camera shake, in complete comfort
Shooting freehand never results in the absolutely fixed camera position that is essential in macro photography. Not even a proverbially steady hand can prevent the camera from moving – even if only by a few millimetres. Even this can quickly lead to blurring in the final image, which would be particularly noticeable in macro photography. Prudent macro photographers will therefore use a tripod. The MP-150 macro adjustment slide can easily be mounted on a tripod or a Leofoto ball head. Now the camera, supported without wobble by this stable ‘base’, can be moved comfortably forwards and backwards by sliding. Once the framing and focus are correct, the camera is locked into place with pinpoint accuracy.
Robust construction – easy to use
The MP-150 macro adjustment slide is made of durable, black anodised aircraft-grade aluminium, is Arca-Swiss compatible and also features a ¼” thread. Its quick-release plate can be locked into three positions using a sturdy lever: fully locked (camera fixed), fully open (camera movement forwards and backwards) and half-open (for small, precise position adjustments).
