The Leofoto Ranger series
With a Ranger tripod, you immediately have everything you need to get started: it consists of a sturdy carbon fibre tripod, a versatile and solid ball head, and the necessary accessories. As the legs are adjustable to 3 angles, all Ranger tripods can be used close to the ground. This also makes them ideal for macro photography. Like all other Leofoto tripods, the Ranger tripods are made from 10-layer carbon fibre. This makes the tripods lightweight, extremely robust and durable. The Ranger LS-365C All-Round Tripod
The legs of the LS-365C are equipped with the Twist-Lock system, allowing the tripod to be set up and folded away in a flash. You can simply screw the included spike feet onto the tripod if you wish to work on a softer surface. There is a screw thread on the side and underside of the tripod’s centre plate for attaching accessories such as Magic Arms or a sandbag for extra stability. In short, the Ranger LS-365C is particularly recommended for anyone looking for a robust and multifunctional tripod for on the go.
PG-1 Gimbal Ball Head
The Leofoto PG-1 tripod head is a sturdy yet lightweight gimbal head. With a gimbal head, you can easily balance a heavy telephoto lens whilst still quickly tracking a moving subject. The Leofoto PG-1 is made from milled aircraft-grade aluminium and weighs just 1 kilo thanks to its ingenious perforated support arms. Nevertheless, this robust gimbal head can support camera setups weighing up to 25 kg. The Leofoto PG-1 features a practical universal Arca-Swiss quick-release system, to which any Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release plate can be attached. The gimbal head has a 100 mm lens plate. You can lock the camera mount in place using the strong clip lock. The built-in spirit level helps you position your tripod exactly horizontally.
