PRO ND1000 (10-stop)The HOYA PRO ND1000 filter reduces the amount of light by 10 stops. It can be used to smooth out waterfalls and water surfaces, create motion blur in clouds, take architectural photos without people walking through the frame, and much more. For example, with the PRO ND1000 filter, you can expose for a full 8 seconds instead of 1/8 of a second – and the image will still not be overexposed.HOYA PRO ND filters for filmmakersND filters are an indispensable tool for demanding film shoots. When shooting with flat image profiles, for instance, the ISO setting cannot be lower than ISO 800. For example, Sony cameras in S-Log mode automatically set the ISO value to 800, which is far too bright for outdoor shots without an ND filter and results in overexposed footage. ND filters bring the exposure down to the correct level. To maintain natural motion in the image, it is recommended to adjust the shutter speed to match the frame rate. During the day, PRO ND8, PRO ND64, PRO ND1000 or a combination thereof (such as PRO ND8 + PRO ND64) would be necessary to achieve optimal results.Combinations of HOYA PRO ND filtersThe choice of the right ND filters depends on the photographer’s intention to achieve the desired effect in the image. In the event that the effect achieved by using a single ND filter does not meet the photographer’s expectations, a combination of PRO ND filters may also be useful. For example, the combination of PRO ND8 and PRO ND64 produces an effect equivalent to that of an ND500 filter. The combination of PRO ND8 and PRO ND1000 produces the effect of an ND8000 filter. This makes it possible to capture the sun in full colour without overexposure, whilst retaining the visibility of the sunspots.

The new HOYA UX filters UX stands for ‘User Experience’. To make these filters as user-friendly as possible, the coating on the popular HOYA HMC filters has been significantly improved. For the first time, UX filters, a coating called "HMC WR" (High Multi Coated Water repellent) is used for the first time. The already high-quality coating of the HOYA HMC filters has been enhanced for the new UX series . Water can thus run off immediately upon contact with the glass without leaving any marks. In addition this practical effect, the new coating also prevents smears and fingerprints. This reduces the need for cleaning and thus the risk of micro-scratches. The UX CIR-PL filter is aimed specifically at beginners looking for a good CIR-PL filter at an affordable price. Like the UV filter, the CIR-PL filter can be used on both film and digital cameras . It prevents reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass and leaves. At the same time, it enhances colour saturation and contrast in the images.   A polarising film is sandwiched between the two glass surfaces of the HOYA UX CIR-PL filter. The front aluminium frame has been designed so that it can be rotated. This allows the polarising film can be positioned at the desired angle, which intensifies or reduces the effect as required or reduces the effect as required. The thread milled into the upper mount allows for the attachment of additional filters or the lens cap.
