The Orangemonkie Foldio360 is an intuitive solution for creating and editing 360-degree photos and videos. You control the Foldio360 using a smartphone and the included app. This product allows you to set up a scene quickly and easily. On the back of the Foldio360 is the 5700K Halo Edge LED lighting, which provides a seamless transition from the white backdrop to the background of the shooting box.

Smartphone 360 Object

Download the Foldio360 app onto your iPhone or Android smartphone. The Foldio360 connects automatically to your smartphone without needing to use Bluetooth settings. Then mount your smartphone on a tripod and you’re ready to capture your 360-degree objects. With the app, you can adjust the rotation speed (1x, 2x, 3x), rotation direction, brightness of the halo edges, brightness of the camera image, white balance and the number of shots (24, 36 or 48). When you press the shutter button, the Foldio360 will capture your desired images.

Smartphone video

The Foldio360 also allows you to capture smooth video footage. In the app, you can quickly and easily switch between the different recording modes. When recording video, you can also adjust the speed, rotation direction, brightness of the halo edges, brightness of the camera image and white balance. You can also choose whether the Foldio360 rotates continuously or completes a single 360-degree rotation.

DSLR camera

It is also possible to use the Foldio360 in combination with your DSLR camera. This is compatible with a wide range of cameras from Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony. (The infrared function is required.) The app on your smartphone allows you to create the shots. Here you will find an overview of compatible cameras. Is your camera not on the list? It is still possible to use it with the Foldio360.

Manual

If you want to be in control of taking photos and videos, you can simply control the Foldio360 using the app. You set the direction and rotation speed, and take the photos yourself. The speed per rotation can be set to three levels: 25 seconds, 37 seconds and 50 seconds.

Creating the 360-degree object

You can create 360-degree objects from the app, which you can then use as an interactive file on your website and online shop. You can also create videos directly from the app, and afterwards you can edit the files using your preferred software. Of course, you can also export the individual photos to use them in an external 360-degree player. For simple applications, you can create a GIF.
