Comprising 12 elements in 9 groups, 1 UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens and 2 aspherical lenses, the LUMIX G VARIO 45-150 mm / F4.0-5.6 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. for consistently lifelike images from the centre to the corners, ensuring high optical performance in a compact size.
The LUMIX G VARIO 45-150 mm/4.0-5.6 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. lens is equipped with Panasonic’s MEGA O.I.S. (image stabiliser), which ensures exceptionally sharp images even in low light by preventing blur caused by camera shake.
The outstanding internal focusing system of the LUMIX G VARIO 45-150 mm/F4.0-5.6 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. lens delivers superb resolution and contrast from life-size shots right through to infinity. The new stepper motor enables smooth and silent focusing during both still and video shooting. When used with a camera from the LUMIX G series, this lens allows you to utilise the extremely fast and highly precise contrast AF system.
The circular aperture consists of 7 blades and produces a beautiful smoothing effect in out-of-focus areas at longer focal lengths. The new lens system incorporates multi-coated lens elements to reduce artefacts and lens flare to an absolute minimum and achieve high optical performance.
