Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3
Ultra-sturdy camera clip for securely carrying a camera on a strap or belt
The Capture Clip is a versatile camera clip that can be used to carry your camera on almost any strap. Suitable straps include trouser belts, waist belts, rucksack straps or bag straps. Most Peak Design bags also feature a mounting point for a Capture Clip.
Quick access and secure carrying in a fixed position – perfect for any kind of activity
The clip offers numerous advantages: your camera is always within easy reach without ever getting in the way. And you always keep both hands free. The camera hangs securely in a stable position at all times. It doesn’t swing about. Even when you’re moving around a lot, the camera stays in place. All these features make the Capture Clip the perfect choice for active photographers who always have their camera with them. The clip is the perfect companion for high-energy activities. This includes, for example, trekking, climbing or cycling. But it also performs excellently on city breaks and in everyday life.
Optimised new version made entirely of aluminium – slimmer, flatter, rounder and lighter
With version v3, the Capture Clip has undergone a comprehensive facelift. The term ‘streamlined’ perfectly describes the new clip. It is made entirely of aluminium. Compared to its predecessor, it is 20% narrower and 20% flatter. The new clip is therefore less bulky. And thanks to the sleeker design, even slimmer photographers who wear the clip on a rucksack strap no longer have the problem of the clip digging into their shoulder when they move their arm. Furthermore, the smaller shape also makes the clip 30% lighter. Added to this are a rounded design with no sharp edges and a smoother surface.
Super-simple handling and quick camera access for spontaneous snapshots
The Capture Clip impresses with its incredibly straightforward handling: simply attach the clip to a strap or your trouser belt, screw the included mounting plate onto the underside of your camera, and then snap the plate into the clip’s mount. Done. The plate is secured by a snap lock to prevent it from falling out of the mount. At the same time, you retain quick access to your camera for spontaneous snapshots: simply press the release button, remove the camera from the mount, take your photo, and then clip the camera back in place. And if you want to be absolutely sure, you can lock the release button by turning it 90 degrees to the side.

Note
The Capture Clip v3 from 2017 is compatible with all Peak Design camera plates released up to that point. However, the new, flatter Standard Plate plates cannot be used with older Capture Clip models. Although these plates can be inserted, the gap between the top of the plate and the top of the clip would be too small to insert the plate into the clip with a camera mounted on it. The clip comes without a camera plate!
