Peak Design’s Everyday Sling bags let you carry not only your camera but also everything else you need in a practical and stylish way – they are compact and reliable companions on a photography trip, but work just as well as a shoulder bag for everyday use. With the “update” of the Everyday Line to version 2 (V2), the series has a fresh new look – and is expanding, as the Everyday Sling 3L is the newest and smallest member of the family. For a small DSLR or DSLM camera including lens, interchangeable lenses or a camera with a zoom lens

The bag’s design features a spacious main compartment. It offers space for a compact camera (DSLM or small SLR) with a short attached lens and an additional lens. If the included FlexFold divider (see below for more details) is folded out as a “shelf” instead, the Everyday Sling 3L can accommodate two further small prime lenses. Alternatively, you can remove the FlexFold divider entirely and carry a camera with a larger zoom lens in the bag instead. On the inside of the lid flap is a small, elongated compartment – particularly handy for stowing cables or the Cord-Hook straps. Of course, there’s also a slip pocket on the outside, where you can store items such as your smartphone or a wallet.

Hip bag or shoulder bag – the choice is yours!

Made from robust, waterproof nylon, the bag can be carried in various ways. As a shoulder bag, the Everyday Sling 3L fits comfortably against the body. A padded shoulder strap with swivel joints ensures a perfect fit, and the length can be adjusted as required using the tried-and-tested Peak Design quick-release fastener. Thanks to a stylish carabiner clip made from anodised aluminium, the padded section of the strap can be opened and detached from the shoulder strap. Securely clipped into the retaining eyelet, the bag instantly transforms into a bum bag, with the strap ends stowed away in the pouch.

FlexFold dividers – clever folding design for customisation

Almost a trademark of Peak Design: unlike other bags, the Everydays can be organised and adjusted with even greater flexibility. The secret behind this: the FlexFold dividers! The developers at Peak Design have based the concept on Japanese origami techniques. With this innovative design featuring two layers of fabric, the single-compartment bag is not only easy to fold, but can also be unfolded in two ways: One layer of the divider can be folded down, whilst the other layer remains unfolded. This gives you a sort of shelf with a middle shelf. The divider can support a long lens whilst simultaneously separating two lenses stacked on top of each other. This results in a multitude of storage options, making the Everyday Sling surprisingly spacious despite its compact dimensions.

Tried-and-tested features from the Sling series are, of course, also included in the compact Everyday Sling 3L. Alongside the origami-style foldable internal divider and numerous storage options, these include quick access and a host of clever details that optimise the bag for photography use and enhance its practicality in everyday life. Peak Design Essentials include the sturdy attachment loop for a Capture Clip, which allows the camera to be securely clipped to the outside of the bag. There are also two loops at the base of the bag. The two included straps for the Cord Hook system can be attached here if you wish to carry a mini tripod on the outside. Water-repellent DWR coating and waterproof zips with flaps and safety tabs make the bag suitable for harsh environments, whilst soft cotton-blend fabric on the inside and hardware made from anodised aluminium give it a high-quality feel.
