Our F:X Pro Long Exposure Set comprises three top-quality ND (Neutral Density) filters, designed to reduce the amount of light reaching your camera sensor. The filters included in the set measure 100 x 100 millimetres and feature our ultra-fine Luminance Coating. This guarantees you razor-sharp images – even with ‘high-end’ cameras boasting 150 MP. Colour fidelity is exemplary, meaning you can capture your surroundings exactly as the human eye sees them. Our filters also boast a reflection-free rate of 99.5 per cent.

This is why you need ND filters:

• Depicting motion through longer exposure times
• Removing moving objects from the image
• Highlighting the subject by blurring the background
• Increasing the aperture – reducing the depth of field

The F:X Pro Long Exposure Set consists of three filters with different intensities:

• ND 8 (3 stops)
• ND 64 (6 stops)
• ND 1000 (10 stops)

One stop means that the amount of light reaching the sensor is reduced by one f-stop. This allows you to take pictures with longer exposure times, even in bright sunlight. You can use this to blur moving elements in your composition; when photographing a river, for example, this makes the water look silky – whilst larger stones in the river remain sharply defined. Do you want to photograph a tourist attraction, but preferably without people in the picture? That’s no problem either with an ND filter. Because the long exposure ultimately leaves only the stationary architecture in the picture.

Depending on how much light you want to reach the sensor, you can also combine our filters. To ensure that absolutely no unwanted light reflections appear in your shot, our rectangular filters also feature a foam seal between the camera and the filter.
