Pec Pad optical cleaning cloth 10 x 10 cm 100 pieces Sensor Swab
The Photosol Pec Pad 100 x 100 mm is the ideal cleaning cloth for optical surfaces. Pec Pads are extremely tear-resistant, lint-free and so pure that it is virtually impossible to scratch an emulsion with a Pec Pad. The Sensor Swab Pec Pad cleaning wipes are so soft that they can be used to clean all kinds of sensitive surfaces such as scanners, CDs, mirrors, lens surfaces, telescopes, etc. When used in conjunction with PEC-12, they are ideally suited for cleaning photographic films and prints. When used with Eclipse cleaning fluid, Pec Pads can be used to clean soiled areas of a lens.
Pec Pads in two sizes
Pec Pad cleaning cloths are available in two practical sizes. The 10 x 10 cm cloths are ideal for cleaning 35 mm film and small surfaces such as filters. The larger cleaning cloth (23 x 23 cm) is best suited for larger film surfaces (such as sheet film) or print formats, screens, scanners, etc. The 10 x 10 cm Pec Pad cleaning cloths are packed in packs of 100, whilst the 23 x 23 cm version is sold in packs of 25.
Made from a unique fibre blend
Thanks to a unique fibre blend designed specifically for photographic applications, Pec Pads are soft and supple, non-abrasive, tear-resistant and lint-free. The controlled production process ensures the cleaning pads are 99.999% free from contaminants. This means they can be used safely on all hard photographic emulsions such as film and photographic paper. Pec Pads can also be used on coated or uncoated photographic lenses, binoculars and telescopes without leaving scratches on the sensitive coatings. With careful use, you can even clean Plexiglas and CDs with a Pec Pad. Please note: Pec Pads are not suitable for cleaning camera sensors, as they are not made from the same materials as Sensor Swabs.
