The outer fabric has a matt finish, similar to the DNA Special Edition, with even better durability and abrasion resistance. It has a pleasant feel to the touch and is now available in all-black. The fabric is highly water-repellent. The top and back layers of the fabric, including the interior, are coated, making it more water-repellent than any bag Tenba has ever produced.
Waterproof base
The TPU-coated and seam-sealed base is completely waterproof on the underside. The waterproof base is 3.8 cm high. The bag can be placed on any wet surface – even for extended periods – and moisture will not seep into the bag.
Reflective panel
The lower part of the front flap is fitted with black reflective material. This enhances safety and visibility at night, particularly in urban areas when cycling or riding scooters and mopeds. When light hits the reflective surface, it glows.
Features Interior
Dark grey Shadow ripstop fabric in a high-quality design, matching the Roadie interior. The front pocket has a zip for the secure storage of important items such as batteries, cables, memory cards, mobile phones and keys. The pocket can also be accessed via the top zip under the front flap. The pocket impresses with its practical and clean layout.
Removable, padded camera insert
This insert is very practical, as you can quickly remove cameras and lenses to transform the bag into a non-camera bag for general use, such as at the gym, university or on a weekend break. The blue trim on the sides gives the bag a nice finish.
FIDLOCK® magnetic fasteners & strap for wheeled suitcases
New retaining loops prevent the clips from hanging far below the bag. They allow for quick release by sliding and easy reattachment by simply placing the bag back on. This is the fastest clip in the world. It can be opened and closed with one hand, even when wearing gloves or with the bag behind you.
The bag is slipped over the extendable handle of the wheeled luggage or equipment case. The new, taller design offers greater security and prevents the bag from twisting when strapped onto a wheeled suitcase.
Bicycle safety strap & weatherproof cover
The adjustable safety strap attaches to the D-rings on the back of the bag, anchoring it in place so it cannot slide forwards whilst cycling or riding a scooter. Please note: The DNA 9 does not feature this strap.
The weatherproof cover is removable and reversible. It is silver on one side to reflect the sun and dissipate heat, and black on the other side for camouflage.
