The control dials allow you to set shutter speed, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity without having to access the camera menu. You can also configure the camera to use the control dials for shutter speed or exposure compensation.

Do you want to take portraits with a shallow depth of field or street scenes with a short focal length and maximum depth of field? The small display shows the aperture value for the shot.

Round electronic viewfinder

The Z fc features a high-resolution electronic viewfinder, but the eyepiece is round – just like the optical viewfinder on the Nikon FM2. The viewfinder displays the subject with great clarity and is automatically activated when you bring the camera up to your eye.
